Future or now
Should we bet on the future? Or collect more now?
Usually now is better, because future is so uncertain. It's a matter of how much faith you have in the future.
We need to do the right things right. Though we are imperfect (not even close) I believe we are on the right track. We need to keep growing as individuals and as a team. Number (sales and profit) should follow, but it will lag. We just need to keep on doing the right thing as both individuals and as a team.
As I look back 5 years, I am amazed about how far I have come both individually and as a team. Of course it is not because of my own efforts alone, but mainly because of the people around me. I am determined to make the next 5 years even better, and I hope all team members will feel the same way a few years from now.
I believe in this team, and our future. I would like to invest in it.
