Stress Management

As we go into the busy season, we need to make sure we take control of our stress level.
Stress comes from fear of the possible bad outcome. Fear of outcome is mainly from feeling out of control. When we have so much to do, we feel like things are out of control and start feeling the unnecessary stress.

But my experience tells that it is not really about how many things we need to do. Some people are stressed out by doing 10 things, while others are full of vitality with 50 things to do. It is a matter of perspective and the key is who takes control. Is it the us that take control or the busyness that controls us?

Taking control does not happen automatically. It is a result of proactive management. It is when we are busy that we really need to spend time and effort on proactively managing our schedule. By spending our efforts on proactively managing our schedule, we can change unnecessary stress to a good type of stress.
